Synopsis: POKIRI has some of the best action, best music, oodles of sensuality, loads of attitude and tonnes of style, abundant satire and humor. No wonder this is one of the best entertainers with universal appeal, to come from the Indian sub continent.
Lead pair Prince Mahesh and Ileana are Adonis and Venus on a mission. Mahesh’s one-liners are awesome. Undoubtedly, he is the ROCK STAR, the dream and envy of men and women alike.

Pandu (Mahesh Babu) is a ruthless Mafioso with no fixed loyalties. Two warring groups grudge his machismo but can’t help admiring his clinical and nonchalant approach to extreme violence. They use his services alternately. For Pandu love was never on his agenda but Sruthi (Ileana)’s drop dead looks overpower him at the very first sight. He falls in love with Sruthi yet prefers to distance himself, conscious of the implications of his crime ridden life. Sruthi too loves Pandu, but hesitates to confess her love to him. When the megalomaniac Mafia King pin Ali bhai lands in town, he finds Pandu’s vanity and valor unpalatable. Pandu refuses to toe the line of Ali bhai and their conflict leads to a spectacular climax that brings about some startling revelations about Pandu with some edge of the seat thrills. The forthright top cop Sayaji Shinde and his lecherous and evil subordinate Ashish Vidyardhi spice up the proceedings. Brahmi the software engineer with a huge crush on Sruthi and his bete noir tramp Ali are hilarious.
